This library has two hidden treasures. 1. The used book sale, and 2. The magazine bin. People bring in their used magazines to give away, so it’s a great way to try new titles or pick up a quick beach read.
Yes, it’s a little shabby, but it’s a mid-century treasure, and once you’ve landed in paradise, who cares?
Pick up basketball games found here.
The Honolulu Museum of Art school is the perfect way to try something new. I’ve taken Intaglio, Batik, Screen Printing, and Woodcut. Try a weekend workshop for a short term commitment.
A lovely lunch spot, whether visiting the museum exhibits or not. Delicious food in a refreshing oasis.
$1M+ condos overlooking the Mid-Pacific Country Club golf course. This is the most expensive condo community in Kailua, but not the newest (1979). One section is accessed through Lanikai, the other off of Keolu Dr. The units have interesting floor plans, usually with several sets of stairs. Covered parking and a pool area, but the real draw is the proximity to the beach.
Keola Lai is an immaculate building in Kakaako, close to the government and financial districts and convenient to nightlife. Built in 2008, this community has worked out the kinks other newer builds may encounter. The amenities are high-end and pet-friendly, and the views are awesome!
This home is in excellent condition. It's in a convenient, central location and it's a great value.
The perfect starter home!
Over an acre of land overlooking the ocean above Waimea Bay, home to Oahu’s big wave surfing culture.
